报告题目：Accelerate Time-Integration via Parareal

报告摘要：In this talk, we introduce the basic idea of the parareal algorithm for accelerating the computation of evolutionary problems. This is an iterative algorithm which attracts considerable attention in the past two decades and consists of two time-integrators using with two different step-sizes. We will explain how these two time-integrators affect the convergence rate of the iteration and how to make the convergence rate faster and more efficient.

报告人简介：吴树林，河南省固始县人，2010年毕业于华中科技大学，获计算数学专业博士学位，现为东北师范大学威尼斯9499登录入口教授、博士研究生导师。主要从事发展方程时间并行算法研究，以第一（或 通讯）作者身份在相关研究领域发表学术论文50余篇，其中包括《SIAM系列》（16篇）、《J Comput Phys》(5篇)、《IMA J Numer Anal》(2篇)、《Numer Math》等计算数学领域重要期刊论文。 以通讯作者身份应邀在计算数学著名刊物《Acta Numerica》(数值年刊)撰写时间并行计算研究方向综述性论文。曾于2018年、2022年应邀在时间并行计算国际会议做大会邀请报告(邀请人为欧洲科学院院士Yvon Maday教授、法国国家数学研究中心主任Pascal Hurbert教授)。研究成果得到国内外多位知名学者正面评价和跟踪研究, 并得到多项国家、省部级基金的资助，如国家自然科学基金-面上项目（2项）、四川省杰出青年基金、中国博士后科学基金-特别资助等。曾入选中国科协青年人才托举过程、国家高层次青年人才。
